Garret is "far sighted" and has a very strong prescription. The optometrist said Garret needed to wear glasses all the time because one of his eyes had given up (lazy eye). Garret plays hockey, so he needed sport glasses. His prescription is so strong we could not find a vendor who would make the lenses for him because the thickness is beyond the specifications for Rec Specs. I contacted Liberty Sport directly from the website and was put in touch with Jim. We communicated over a few weeks and Jim had a lab in Tennessee make Garret's Rec Specs. Garret wears the Rec Specs for Hockey and Snow Boarding. Both of Garret's eyes are back to work. What a difference the Rec Specs have made in Garret's Hockey Skills!
